Photos: Stay Away From These 97 illegal Loan Apps – Bank of Ghana Warns

The Bank of Ghana has issued a caution to the general public against 97 illegal loan apps currently operating in Ghana.

In a press statement, the Bank of Ghana revealed that the bank has observed the operations of these 97 unlicensed entities that are engaging in the provision of loans.

According to them, these entities significantly breaches customer data and privacy law, as well as consumers protection requirements and norms, with unfavorable implications on the integrity and wellbeing of their patrons.

Bank of Ghana disclosed it will continue to take action against these entities.
