Former Ghanaian Striker, Baby Jet Asamoah Gyan has revealed that, no Black Stars player has sacrificed for the senior National team of Ghana the way he have done.
Asamoah Gyan in an interview on Asempa Fm ‘The Ultimate Sports Show’ on June 5, 2023, revealed that he will always say that there is no player in the Ghana football that has made huge sacrifices like him. He believes even the players and those in the GFA will testify to that.
According to him, the team was so dear to his heart and he didn’t mind risking his life to play for the team even when he is on the hospital bed or down with some illness.
Asked if he has regretted doing this sacrifices for the team, Asamoah Gyan said even though there has been betrayals he was just doing this for mankind despite the fact that some of teammates makes him regret his sacrifices he had no option that to move on with his life.
