The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, over the weekend, disclosed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government will later this year implement a ‘one student, one laptop’ policy for the Senior High School students.
However, this promise has garnered massive attention and lot of backlashes from netizens to the vice president over his new promise to the SHS students.
By the responses on the policy, many Ghanaians opined that the government should focus on basics like providing proper textbooks and feeding the students.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia during his at an event on Saturday, May 27, 2023 in the Volta Region, said textbooks and other teaching and learning materials would be installed on the laptops to be used during lessons.
