Ghanaian versatile singer, Gregory Bortey popular known as King Promise, has finally broken his silence on the recent lookalikes trends which has taken over the industry by storm.

The “Terminator” hitmaker, in recent interview with Giovani Caleb revealed it’s a blessing for him to inspire a generation who likes to be like him and feel it’s all about love they are showing him but maybe in a different way.

According him, he has seen people on the internet bashing and angry at them but he’s not mad at them since everyone knows who the original King Promise is.

Tagged the 4 Kings, the group have been allegedly imitating the style and mannerisms of celebrities and even performing their songs in public.

While impersonating a celebrity or popular figure may be considered a harmless gesture as has been the case all over the world, it can also have serious consequences for artists who rely on their image and brand to build a successful career.

A celebrity can also sue a lookalike for impersonating them which could lead to 20 years in prison.
